“Our clients wanted a full internal refurbishment that functioned effortlessly as a family home, whilst making the best use of every single inch of space. We reconfigured the existing floor layouts and the staircase to create the best result possible for the family. ”
The Brief
Our clients were prepared to explore several different options and ideas before deciding upon the one which worked best for them, and which complied with the rights held by the freeholder. The important aspect was to make the very best use of all the spaces within the home.
What we did
We were working on the understanding that cost and time were of the utmost importance. Our clients would move out of the family home during the time of the refurbishment and wanted to be able to return to their home as quickly as possible. Consequently, all our interior layout suggestions, material finishes and design ideas were prepared and presented to our clients to ensure time efficiency and cost certainty. This allowed us to start on-site, knowing we could meet our client’s wishes within the agreed-upon times and budgets. We used our expertise to add very special design features to the house, such as bespoke cabinetry, a hidden cocktail bar and a unique lightwell to work with the unique proportions of the house.
